Raised in British Columbia and now based in Calgary, Cody Friesen has spent over a decade building a name in the fashion and outdoor industry across Western Canada. With a degree in Marketing and years of experience working under another agency, Cody developed a passion for connecting brands with retailers through creativity, strategy, and genuine relationships.

In 2024, Cody branched out on his own to launch CRF Agency—a full-service sales and marketing agency built on energy, expertise, and authenticity. That same year, he partnered with Trend Marketing Canada, taking on exclusive representation for the West and expanding his long-standing relationship with REEF Sandals while adding powerhouse brands like Cougar, Rockport, Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger Footwear.

Since then, Cody has grown CRF Agency into one of the region’s most dynamic players, forming direct partnerships with emerging and established brands including BILLY Footwear, Stria Sport, SELFISH Swimwear, NAB Leather, White Duck Outdoors, J.B. Fields Canada, Aimee Kestenberg, and Chilly Moose, along with a new partnership through ROI Recreation Outfitters representing YY Nation.

In 2025, CRF Agency joined forces with August Agency, owned by Christine Fatechand, to take things to the next level. This powerhouse partnership combines experience, creativity, and serious hustle—bringing even bigger visibility to our brands across Western Canada.

Together, Cody and Christine share 50/50 partnerships on several standout names including Chilly Moose, NAB Leather, SELFISH Swimwear, J.B. Fields Canada, Aimee Kestenberg, and most recently, YY Nation. It’s a collaboration built on shared vision, great energy, and a mutual goal—to make every brand we represent impossible to miss.
